Arenaflex Flexbat - A Floor for Multi-purpose (available in the UK)
Arenaflex Flexbat is a resilient hardwood flooring system laid onto Flex battens, and is ideally suited for use as activity flooring, in sports halls, dance floors, recreation halls and gymnasiums.
On top you can choose either Arenaflex Stadium (3.5mm wear-layer) or Arenaflex Olympia (6mm wear-layer).
This flooring system is only available in the UK.

Appearance

The overall appearance is of a high quality hardwood pre-finished strip floor. A variety of hardwood species are available in a single grade. Those normally specified are Oak, Beech, Canadian Maple, Merbau (on demand). All hardwood used is taken from managed sustainable sources.

Performance/ Strength

In accordance with BS 6399:Part 1 1996, the floor, when using 23mm or 21mm Arenaflex will safely support distributed loads of 5.0kn/m2 and is appropriate for general purpose sports and similar mulit-use halls. Floors are normally design to meet specific installation requirements and where special considerations, such as mobile tiered seating are required contact BOEN Sport.

Board dimensions

  • Arenaflex Stadium on Flexbat: 23mm x 139mm x 2200mm (3.5mm wear-layer)
  • Arenaflex Olympia on Flexbat: 21mm x 139mm x 2200mm (6mm wear-layer)

Each board comprises 3.5mm or 6mm wear-layer with 10mm pine spruce core and 5mm pine spruce balancing layer. 6 boards per pack (1.83m2).

Batten Dimensions

Foam battens are supplied in 31/45/57mm x 45mm x 1800mm and are PEFC certified. All BOEN softwood battens are VAC VAC treated.
