The history of BOEN is a story of people – loyal and hard working people with drive and a genuine love of nature. Dating back to as early as 1641 there were two saw mills in operation at the BOEN waterfall on the Topdals River near Kristiansand in the south of Norway.

BOEN have manufacturing facilities in Norway, Lithuania and Germany and are producing several million square metres of high quality hardwood flooring in a variety of latest designs and performance finishes designed for the demands and trends within the 21st century. Based on a vast experience in manufacturing hardwood flooring, BOEN offers a wide variety of wood species in several grades, patterns, wear layers, finishes and thicknesses ranging from 10mm – 23mm. The product range includes long strip, plank, ships plank, herringbone, basket weave combining boards and decorative squares, a complete sports flooring range and now the NEW Chalet range, exclusive extra wide boards in a random length up to a maximum of four metres.
