BOEN has been awarded The Blue Angel, which is a highly recognised enviromental label, awarded by the Department of the Environment in Germany. The acquisition of The Blue Angel proves that the product is approved and contains very small amounts of waste gas and that parquet from BOEN is involved in preserving a good inner climate - something which further contributes to a healthy living environment.

Mr Thorleif Hals is appointed Managing Director of BOEN AS. He is 52 years old and leaves the position as Managing Director of Yarwil AS, a 50/50 JV between Yara International and Wilh. Wilhelmsen.

Part of the film was recorded at the Boen Estate in 2009. The film Yohan - a child migrant, was launched at the cinema on 26th March 2010 and at Stockholms Film Festival Junior 19th – 24th April 2010.

 

Boen Sport participated at FSB (Leisure- and sport fair) in Cologne from 28th to 30th of October 2009. Boen Sport launched the new sport floor system Arenaflex Logic to the world market.

15.12.2008 - BOEN is the winner of the prestigious 2008 retail floors and contract floors readers choice for Wood manufacturer of the year and Solid wood flooring supplier of the year which was held at the historic Lords cricket ground, London, UK.

17. - 21.09.2008 -  Norwegian design goes international

BOEN sponsored the fourth Mercedes Classic event in Russia which took place on 17th of May 2008.

From 13-17 February, 2008, the first Housing Brand Fair took place at COEX in Seoul, Korea.

The BOEN Group, which delivers hardwood flooring and indoor sports flooring is constantly growing.

A new BOEN show room has been opened in Beijing and was fully operational in November 2006.

The Perspective Design Recognition Awards (PDRA) is an award from a well known and highly reputable Interior and Design magazine called “Perspective”.

The modified BOEN studio opened as a new concept in September 2006 in the Eurodom hall.

BOEN Sport at the 12th International Trade Fair Sport-Recreation in Warsaw, Poland,

BOEN Sport have been delivering the Boflex Champion understructure for this prestigious indoor tennis project. The floor was installed in the beginning of 2007 and completed mid March.

BOEN has restructured its treatment program. Untreated, oiled or lacquered – BOEN leaves the choice up to the customer.

But, the natural resources for the production of plank are limited.
